The Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has called in the proposal - despite Islington Council rejecting it on 14 separate planning points. It is open for consultation until 5 October 2026 - please submit your comments before then! Even if you' have written before we must ensure that local voices are heard.
WHO IS SEVENCAPITAL?
SevenCapital’s annual reports do not suggest they can take on such a significant project given the interest rates being paid on loans: Annual report | SevenCapital. SevenCapital doesn’t currently own the site, it is being leased from Peabody. There are concerns with many other projects they’ve been involved with.
